Lugang Cafe

We had our flu shots last May and decided to celebrate Mothers Day early since my sister in law's family were going out of town for an office teambuilding.  The first thing I noticed when I stepped into Lugang Cafe were the magnificent chandeliers and the lush seating areas.

Random Food Bites - May 2012

Instead of preparing several short posts, I compiled several dishes in one article.  Here goes...

S&R's huge salad can surely satisfy my belly for lunch or dinner.  I like their pizzas, burgers and hotdogs too but I have gravitated towards the salad recently.

Gloria Maris

I just wanted to share these photos from my cousin's engagement party at Gloria Maris.  The food was beautifully plated on oversized serving platters.  They were placed on our table one dish at a time.  I couldn't resist but ask the waiter how many more were coming so I could pace myself.

My favorite from this feast were the fried prawns wrapped in noodles.

Rice in Ampalaya Silog

Pancake House has come out with dishes inspired by the show Junior Master Chef Pinoy Edition.  I have been able to catch tidbits of a few episodes but I'm more familiar with the Australian version.

Le Ching Too

Each shopping trip at greenhills means a visit to Le Ching Too for my favorite Spareribs Rice.

Breakfasts at Pancake House

We were up and about at sunrise to drive mom to her rendezvous point for her Tagaytay getaway  We skipped breakfast and were already hungry at around 630am.  Good thing the Greenhills branch beside Fitness First was open already.

I love the smell of freshly made pancakes and waffles especially those from Pancake House.  I was pretty satisfied with my order of Bacon Waffles (P170).  It smelled heavenly, the edges were crunchy and the combination of the bacon's saltiness and the syrup and waffle's sweetness was perfect.
