Are you up for the ridiculous challenge? Finish Burger Avenue's Ridiculous Burger in less than five minutes and it's free!
It's described as a freshly grilled all beef triple patty sandwiched on an oatmeal bun, laced with crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes and three cheese slices. The husband tried this a few years back and failed. He vowed he would complete the challenge someday so he can have his picture posted on the wall.
Funny thing was, he was still hungry after finishing off the burger. Maybe because he just gobbled everything up. We figured that he didn't make it since he ate it as a sandwich and was trying his best not to make a mess. Maybe if he ate it in parts, like the bread first, then the meat, lettuce, and so on, he would have gotten the burger for free.
A few weeks ago, we went back on a saturday night but he wasn't that hungry and up for the challenge.
He decided against the Chilicon Burger and the Wasabi Burger since he wasn't in the mood for something spicy. He ended up with the Hungarian Sausage (P195) which was super hot too. My lips were stinging.
I wanted to try the Chicken Salpicao Sandwich but it was not available. My next choice was the Cheese Steak Salpicao (P215). Melt in your mouth goodness. I would have loved this even more if there were onions and bell peppers.
And of course, we couldn't resist sharing an order of French Fries (P55).
I want to go back and try the Chilicon Burger or the Crispy Bacon Melt or the Sloppy Joe Hotdog and maybe even a Milkshake. Who knows husband's picture may be on that wall on our next visit.
