A few months ago, Hotel Kimberly in Tagaytay was our little playground for one weekend. With about 20 of us from mom's side of the family, we explored and maximized the hotel's amenities which my sister wrote about here.
Since most hotel check in times are at 2pm, the rest of the group traveled earlier than us and spent the morning and most of the afternoon swimming and eating at our relatives place. My parents, hubby and I decoded to sleep in and have lunch at LZM Restaurant in Nuvali before checking in. We hung out at the playground, obstacle course and mini animal farm before heading to Tootsie's for dinner.
Like most hotel accommodations, our room came with breakfast. Although there were a lot of options, the breakfast buffet spread was just ordinary.
My first plate of Ham, Tocino, Corned Beef with Potatoes, Fish Fillet, Potato Wedges and Fried Rice filled me up
but I just couldn't resist the Cheese and Bacon
I shared this fully loaded Omelette with hubby
and had a Waffle for dessert
After breakfast, we roamed around the hotel grounds, visited and fed the animals and scoped out the game room before getting ready to check out.
Hotel Kimberly isn't located in the more populated and touristy area of Tagaytay. Come here for a relaxing and laidback vacation. You can just hide out in your room and catch up on some much needed shut eye or explore the facilities like we did. But if you're travelling to Tagaytay for a foodie adventure, do check out the restaurants which are just a short drive away.
