Mom & Tina's

We've stopped by Mom and Tina's maybe about a handful of times for their Mango Walnut Torte and Toblerone Walnut Torte to bring to parties.  We've been dying to sample their food and actually dined there last week.

The U.S. Beef Tapa was just heavenly.  A must order for bacon lovers.
U. S. Beef Tapa P225

Crispy strips of marinated beef served with egg, garlic rice and achara. It's an all new way to enjoy tapa!

The oh so tender Beef Stew tasted way way better than it looked but I was too preoccupied with my crunchy crispy baconish U. S. Beef Tapa and garlic rice.
Beef Stew P230
Everybody's favorite - a hearty stew of tasty beef, carrots and potatoes served w/ rice

Mom enjoyed her Fish n' Chips which were soft and juicy and the breading didn't taste like the type you buy at the supermarket.
Fish N'Chips P255
Tasty breaded fish fillet served with french fries and tartar sauce

For our veggie fix we ordered the Mango Kani Salad.  The mangoes were so sweet and the lettuce fresh and crisp.  I loved how everything went well together.
Mango Kani Salad P285; half P155
A medley of crisp lettuce, rice mango slices, kani sticks and dried seaweed (nori) strips with a special Japanese mayonnaise dressing

We may have skipped dessert on this visit but I'm definitely making room for those mouthwatering treats next time.
