Mr. Rockefeller

Hubby and I celebrated our wedding anniversary last month the best way we know how...with FOOD and of course togetherness (yeah let me be cheesy once in a while haha).  We strolled around the Greenbelt area until the shops were about to close and our stomachs started grumbling.  Our tired feet led us to Mr. Rockefeller, and with a restaurant name like that, we just had to order the Oysters Rockefeller and it did not disappoint.  One of the best oysters we've ever had.

the star in this restaurant!  18 ingredients placed on each and every oyster finished off in the oven and topped with melted mozzarella

While waiting for our food, we munched on the Calamares Pritos.  We liked both the calamares and fries which could be snacked on even without the dip.  I'm not sure what seasoning they used but it was good.

We weren't in the mood for meat so we ordered seafood instead.  The Gambas Risotto was ok but forgettable.  The risotto was rich, creamy and very filling.  The onion soup that was served with this was pretty addicting and comforting.

The fish in the Alaskan Sole Fillet was unbearably salty but the noodles somehow compensated for it.  For hubby to find something salty means it was super salty.  We didn't finish this anymore and made room for dessert instead.

The Molten Chocolate Skillet satisfied our sweet cravings.  Diabetics should steer clear from this.

It's been a while since I've had a drink or two but I found this Mangorita to be overwhelmingly strong.  I didn't enjoy it.

Mr. Rockefeller's tagline is steaks ribs and spanking good oysters.  We should have listened to them and zeroed in on the steaks and ribs.  I would love to go back for another round or two of oysters.
