We had a mini reunion at the New Toho Food Center in Binondo to celebrate my cousin and my aunt's birthdays and my lola's despedida. It was really nice meeting up with family and seeing people we haven't seen since we were kids.
Our family feasted on several yummy dishes most of which I wasn't able to catch the names. My favorite were these shrimps...
and the Sweet and Sour Fish Fillets.
We also had soup
these giant Lumpia Shanghai which were packed with ingredients
Calamares which we kept on munching on
Toho Beef
and of course noodles.
I also loved the fresh crisp lettuce used to wrap this meat in.
The almost 3 hour lunch was spent catching up, taking photos and mostly eating. Our food server was always on his toes and very pleasant. We stayed in the airconditioned area on the second floor and although they closed at 2pm (I think), they never asked us to leave. The food was really good and the company even better. We are definitely coming back to New Toho Food Center especially if we're in the area.
