Brickfire Oven-Roasted Steaks & Chops

Hubby and I are always on the lookout for affordable mouthwatering steaks.  We fell in love with Snackaroo in Quezon City and we were jumping with joy when we discovered Brickfire which is so much closer to us.

On our first visit, we zeroed in on two of their Specials.  I claimed the Cowgirl Annie for myself.
Cowgirl Annie P145
a little bit sweet, a little bit tangy. everything you're looking for in a t-bone steak

Our eyes lit up and we were grinning from ear to ear as soon as the T-bone steak was served to us.  The meat was seasoned very well and most bites were tender.  I thought I was going to order extra rice but the steak filled me up.

I know that it's impossible to serve identical cuts of meat but this was how the Cowgirl Annie looked on our second visit.  It tasted as good but we were expecting the same glorious looking T-bone steak we had the first time.

Hubby was slightly disappointed when his order of the Duke arrived.  It's obviously a smaller piece of meat but it was way more tender than the t-bone (as expected since it was tenderloin).  The mashed potato cheered us up though.  The t-bone and tenderloin basically tasted the same.

it's THE tenderloin - salt and pepper meets premium beef for a mouthwatering original.  served with mashed potatoes

We wanted veggies to go with our orders but the Broccoli Tex-Mex wasn't available.  We settled on munching on the Cheesy Nachos & Fries.  It was average and a bit sweet.

Our first and second visits were just days apart.  On the second visit, mom in law was with us and she had the Salisbury Steak.  She really liked it especially the gravy.

I tried the Salpicao.  It could have used a little less oil on the plate and more garlic bits.

Be forewarned though, do not eat here if you plan on going somewhere special after.  Their exhaust system could use a little work.  It was a bit smokey inside the place and we smelled like we were the ones who grilled the meat.

Needless to say, we are definitely coming back to satisfy our T-bone steak cravings.  For that price, taste and serving, the Cowgirl Annie is a steal!
