Angel Hair with Tuna and Pesto

We tried some store bought pasta sauce a few months ago.  I made a few alterations to the Tuna Pesto Linguine recipe at the back of the pack.

What I used
  • around 250 grams cooked angel hair pasta
  • olive oil
  • sliced garlic
  • 1 can tuna solid in brine, drained
  • sliced green olives
  • salt
  • 1 pack 180 grams Clara Ole Cheesy Pesto Pasta Sauce
  • grated parmesan cheese

What I did
  • sauteed garlic in olive oil
  • stirred in the tuna and olives
  • added a pinch of salt
  • poured in the sauce
  • mixed in the pasta
  • transferred to a plate and sprinkled with parmesan cheese

The cheesy pesto goodness made up for the lack of visual appeal.  I misread the ingredients and bought green olives instead of black ones.  The flavor was not overwhelming and it wasn't too oily.
